The Most Common Phrases You’ll Hear The Wonders Use

Tips to help make your life easier.

Talk to the The Wonders directly in a private session.
Hearing what The Wonders say and listening to what they are communicating are two very different things.

For anyone who’s not used to listening to The Wonders speak, you’ll notice they have a unique cadence to the way they express themselves. After a while it’ll become second nature to understand what they are saying, but if you’re wondering what some of the phrases they use mean, we thought we’d create a quick guide of the most popular ones you’ll encounter.

 “Greetings”
The Wonders begin every channeled session with this word. They have often said that if all they ever said to humanity was this word, all of their awareness would be completely communicated. They infuse all that they are into this greeting. This way, when they speak to you, they are greeting all that you are with all that they are.

 “dear friend”
The Wonders address individuals directly as “dear friend” or “dear (name).” This may seem like a sign of affection and perhaps it is, but it seems like it’s more of a natural way that they address everyone. They have often said that nothing and no one is separate from them. So, in a way they are greeting the part of themselves that is you. And they are doing it with all that they are, which is love.

“To you all, the appreciation of all.”
This is how The Wonders sign off. It’s kind of like a musician saying, “Good night, Los Angeles!” before exiting stage right. Except that this message is a description of the completeness of the oneness of the all that is and how nothing is ever separate from that oneness. So, although arguably deeper than the way you or I would say bye, it gets the job done every time.

“God/Goddess/The All That Is”
This is how The Wonders describe the “God” concept that humanity has. Because there is so much fear, judgment and guilt attached to the idea of God, often steeped in religious concepts, The Wonders combine three phrases to address all genders, to span across all concepts and to communicate a oneness of all things. Essentially, this phrase describes the inclusion of all of existence.

“chuckle, chuckle”
This is how The Wonders express laughter. Although they sometimes do make Réné’s body laugh, they themselves don’t have an ego that would “laugh.” In a way, they are the energy that allows and is laughter, so however it comes out is up to the expression they choose in the moment. But they use this phrase to communicate that they are making a joke, being playful and not saying something that is to be taken seriously. Yes, they actually have a highly developed sense of humor in their expression so be ready for them to make a funny.

 “ego personality”
They use this to describe the part of you that is the rational, thinking, conscious aspect. It encompasses the conscious, subconscious and unconscious mind as well as the physical, mental, emotional and manifested spiritual components.

 “soul essence”
They use this to describe the part of you that is beyond the physical.

 “manifested spiritual”
They use this to describe the way you express the part of you that is nonphysical.

 “We’re a little dense.”
This is a tongue-in-cheek way of them asking you to explain what you mean and go into further detail about it. They do this to help you clarify your own expression as well as for the clarity of the conversation.

 “Good for you!”
They use this common phrase in a not so common way. You’ll often hear them saying this at a time when you yourself may not think it fits. For example, if you tell them that there’s a lot of shit happening in your life right now, they are very likely to enthusiastically reply with a hearty “Good for you!” They do this to help you pull back and see the big picture. “Shit happening’ is often a way of saying a lot of changes are occurring and you’re opening up to growth and expansion.

They also strategically (or sneakily?) use this phrase to express when they see that you are understanding and applying something. If they see that you are still in your head and not yet fully grasping something or perhaps resisting something, they are more likely to respond with, “Okay.” The “Good for you.” Is often an indicator that you are on the right track and to keep moving with the exploration.

“Get of your mind.”
The Wonders often say this to encourage you to stop overthinking and stop thinking about what they are saying and what you think you should say. Say what you feel. Say what feels right for you in that moment. If you don’t know, be honest. If you’re not sure, go for it and see what happens. This phrase can act as a reminder to check in with yourself and express that as honestly as you can.

 *snoring sounds*
The Wonders will often pretend that they have fallen asleep with theatrical snoring sounds. Again, they don’t have an ego or a body so they are not actually falling asleep. They are expressing that whatever is being said is putting them to sleep, metaphorically. Aka, it’s boring. Not to insult anyone or the conversation, but to encourage a different and often more expansive and honest discourse.

“Here’s a little gem.”
If you hear The Wonders say this, start paying very close attention. They say this right before they say something that we often call a mic drop. Before they say something that will surprise you, they may say this. Before they say something you’re not expecting or not even aware of, they may say this as well. Often, what they say after this is truly mind-blowing and will be something you’ll likely ponder on for a long time after because it is so powerful. So think of this phrase as another way of saying that you’re not going to want to miss this next part, so listen up.

“Greetings to all those who are present but not yet physical.”

The Wonders often say this at the start of public event sessions. They have often stated there is a lot of energetic activity present when they speak. This includes both physical and nonphysical. Although they do not often specify exactly what they are referring to, they do often say this almost as if reminding everyone that everything is not as physical as it may seem.

“You’ve not yet ‘grocked’ this concept.”

The Wonders use the term “grock” as a reference to Robert A. Heinlein’s 1961 science-fiction novel Stranger In A Strange Land. The term describes not just understanding what is being said but incorporating it so completely that you become it. In other words, you start living it instead of just repeating the concepts and ideas you’ve heard before.

“Sit with this and we’ll come back to it.”

The Wonders often say this to encourage individuals to not just respond by puzzling, analyzing and thinking. They are encouraging you to just let it wash over you, go on with your daily life, see if anything comes up, reflect some more and then when you’ve come to your own awareness and experienced the concepts for real, come back at them with your own insights from your own experiences so that they can help you expand them from there. The Wonders will never tell you what to do. So part of interacting with them comes back to you coming in with your own perspectives and experiences of choice.

As a universal tip for anyone who’s new to the material, when you speak about your actual personal experience, The Wonders can better assist you in making changes. When you are just exploring theories or ideas, they can help guide you but they will often encourage you to experience more than you think about life. When answering their questions, becoming more honest means speaking about the things you’ve actually experienced, no matter how small you think they may be, instead of the things you’ve been thinking about.

For example, many individuals ask The Wonders about limitlessness. It’s a great concept and one you can talk about forever. But you may want to consider asking them about the limits you have been able to move through and explore why you have not been able to move through others rather than speaking as if you already know yourself as a limitless being. Let’s face it, we can all say we’re limitless. But to choose without limits is a whole different thing entirely. So, be honest. If all you can do is shed one limit, that’s brilliant. But if you haven’t yet shed a limit or any limits, be honest about that too.

“Thou shalt not pass.”

This is a reference to Gandalf, who is a character from Lord of the Rings - The Fellowship of the Ring (2001). He is a wizard and has an iconic scene where he says these words as an expression of his power and he does not let himself get defeated against the Balrog. IF this is a little too much information about a topic you’re not interested in, no worries! All this reference means is that you have the ability to not let anything, absolutely anything (especially not your own mind) take advantage of you. You have the ability to choose, always.
